Kylie Stephenson

Creative Producer, Artist Developer, Event Coordinator, Artist

Kylie has always been fascinated by people, stories and the many different ways creativity can bring them together. From a career that has taken her through medical science, journalism, stage, screen, music, technology and business leadership, Kylie has never been interested in staying in one lane. Instead, she's spent the past two decades following curiosity wherever it has led.

Along the way Kylie has worked as an award-recognised journalist, produced documentaries, studied Stage and Screen, performed throughout Brisbane's theatre and live music scene and even found herself playing an Australian scream queen in the Norwegian slasher film Juleblod (Christmas Blood). More recently she's written, produced and performed in sold-out productions including What's New, Jazzy Cat?! and Love, JAK: Sexy, Sad & A Little F*ing Mad. Every project has reinforced her belief that great creative work begins with authentic storytelling and a willingness to back bold ideas. Away from the stage, Kylie has continued building a career in information technology and business leadership, mentoring graduates, emerging leaders and multidisciplinary teams. Working across both analytical and creative industries has shaped the way she approaches creativity, believing the best ideas come from curiosity, collaboration and creating environments where people feel safe enough to experiment, grow and occasionally fail spectacularly.

Working alongside Adam and the Groove Chapel team felt like a natural fit through a shared belief in supporting the next generation of creative professionals. Kylie is passionate about helping artists build confidence, discover their own creative identity and navigate an industry that continues to evolve through new media and emerging technology. Whether she's interviewing artists, developing creative content or mentoring performers, her goal is simple: to help creatives become adaptable, authentic and ready for whatever comes next.
